Annual Pass with Water Parks

When we renewed out annual pass this year, we decided to pay the extra to get unlimited watermarks and Disney Quest. The break even point? If you are going to use these features more than two or three times, it is probably worth it. For this trip so far we have used Disney Quest three times and water parks twice, so, we are taking advantage of the pass! 

Disney Quest is great if you have just a few hours after work and want to go do something. The place is at Downtown Disney and closes at 10pm. 

We debated whether or not to visit a beach this year. Florida beaches are incredible and last year we visited Clear Water Beach and have great memories. We decided to go to the Disney Water parks instead. 

Blizzard Beach is only ten minutes from our house. At the beach you have to worry about stinging Jelly Fish and whatever other aquatic life might be swimming around your legs in the murky water. You need to worry about rip tides that could pull you out to sea. The beaches are often dirty and filled with biting insects. Restrooms are usually a mile away and are disgusting. Salt water an cause problems if you accidentally drink it or get it in your eyes. And sea water isn't like pool water that had chlorine to kill off bacteria. 


Even though we love the beach, given these negatives in addition to having the option of the year pass, we decided not to dedicate a beach day this year.
